SmartWings: what to check before booking

Smartwings is relevant for holiday flights from Czech airports and other European departures. Charter and scheduled bookings can present services differently, so use your own booking confirmation.

Route and connection

Check the departure airport, flight operator, fare bundle and rules supplied by the airline or tour operator.

What the fare includes

Check the booking screen for seat selection, a checked bag, change rules and refunds. Compare the final price with the same extras on another itinerary.

Baggage rules

Smartwings lists one cabin bag on its Lite fare; checked baggage costs extra on that fare. The allowance on your exact ticket takes priority over a general guide, especially when another airline operates a segment. Read SmartWings’s official baggage or fare rules before paying and again before departure.

Three checks that save time

  1. Confirm the departure and arrival airports, local times and total journey length.
  2. Identify the operating airline on every segment and check the connection margin.
  3. Add bags and seats to both fares, then compare the final price and change conditions.

Compare another option

For a second itinerary, see our Ryanair guide. You can also compare all airlines side by side before searching current flight prices.

This is a planning guide, not a quote or a promise of a particular allowance or service. Conditions can change by route, ticket and operating carrier.
