Eurowings: what to check before booking

Eurowings is a short-haul option to compare when price and direct flight times are your priorities. Its fare bundles can change the real cost of a trip with luggage.

Route and connection

Price the same route with the bag and seat you actually need, then compare arrival airport and flight time.

What the fare includes

Check the booking screen for seat selection, a checked bag, change rules and refunds. Compare the final price with the same extras on another itinerary.

Baggage rules

The Basic fare includes a small underseat bag; a larger cabin bag is included in Smart and BIZclass or can be added to Basic. The allowance on your exact ticket takes priority over a general guide, especially when another airline operates a segment. Read Eurowings’s official baggage or fare rules before paying and again before departure.

Three checks that save time

  1. Confirm the departure and arrival airports, local times and total journey length.
  2. Identify the operating airline on every segment and check the connection margin.
  3. Add bags and seats to both fares, then compare the final price and change conditions.

Compare another option

For a second itinerary, see our easyJet guide. You can also compare all airlines side by side before searching current flight prices.

This is a planning guide, not a quote or a promise of a particular allowance or service. Conditions can change by route, ticket and operating carrier.
